Memorial day this year was a great day! I usually have to work but this year I got the day off, which they were not happy about and tried to force me to come in, but I refused because I had plans with my family! We met up with Dakotah and Brittany at Taco Amigo for lunch, This is a family favorite!
After lunch we headed over to the cemetery to see our grandparents graves. I hadn't seen my grandpa Hreinsons headstone and felt I needed to go pay my respect. My grandpa passed away on Gabi's 1st birthday. I miss him like crazy! He had the best hugs and was such a big teddy bear!
I have the best memories of my grandma and grandpa Hiatt! I was young when they passed away but I miss them dearly! we had so many traditions that we shared with them. We also made some of my foundest memories, Sleepovers, riding the bus to the mall, Disneyland for their 50th wedding anniversary, and much much more! They were great people and we still miss them everyday!
After the cemetery we headed up to deer creek to meet up with some friends. We did a little fishing and soaked up some sun... Gabi loved throwing rocks in the water!
I didn't realize how much sun I had soaked up until we got in the car. I was fried! We were only out for about 2 hours and the wind was blowing so it didn't feel that hot.
The top pic is right after we left and the bottom pic is the next day! I was so burnt!
The next day we went to Tucanos to use our free birthday meal! we walked around the River Bottoms after, here are a few pictures of Gabi~

We went into the cutest old fashioned toy store and Gabi of course found the one thing she could push! She loved this mini shopping cart! It is adorable but not $75 adorable! ha ha!
