I Love my Little Love Bug! The poem above is actually the book I bought for Gabi for Valentines Day that is shown in the pictures. I didn't really plan it but I had bought Gabi the "Love Bug" PJ's and that was all I planned on giving her since she doesn't even know what Valentines day is! I found the book at Seagull book and the little Love Bug toy at Kmart on my lunch break from work for a super good deal and thought it was perfect to go together. I never knew what true love felt like until I had Gabi, she is the purest kind of love and has taught me to love myself and others on a whole other level. The love I have for Gio is also completely different watching him as a father and it has made him a better husband. My heart is always full when I get to be with the two of them and I feel so blessed to have them as part of my family. To this day I have to pinch myself sometimes to really believe that I was given such amazing people in my life and I thank God every day for them. Valentines Day for me is never about the gifts or the elaborate dates. I don't want any of that... #1 I think it sets you up for disappointment if you aren't spoiled every year, and #2 I believe it is a day to reflect on the ones you love and be able to show them and tell them your feelings. The commitment I have to Gio and Gabi is better than any box of chocolates, or bouquet of roses. Those things are temporary... I would rather celebrate what is forever! I love you guys more than words can say and I hope to share many more Valentines together as a family!

Just the Way You Are!
I first heard this song from my sister Brittany, and I fell in Love with it, I sing it to Gabi every day!!! I would truely not change a thing about her and I think she is perfect just the way she is!!! This video made me smile! The real song is much better but little Matty B is pretty cute singing about his sister!

Sewing Projects!
I love to create new things and I love sewing! I really wish I had a full room that I could use as my "project" room so that I could work on it a little at a time more frequently. When I do pull out everything my house becomes a disaster and usually has materal and thread all over the place! Gio and I have talked about me starting an Esty shop or making things to put in boutiques ect and Im still toying with the Idea, Im just not sure that I would be able to really make what I put into it, I will however be willing to make custom requests from people if they want to. I will think about pricing and we can work something out. I feel like we should all share our talents and I love this one of mine! I am usually willing to try a little of everything. Clothing is something that I have had a harder time with because I dont follow patterns very well! I am however going to attempt a few things for gabi so I will post how that goes and if it is worth trying again!

New Years Eve ..... and Brittanys Birthday!
New Years Eve was about as eventful as it always is! We went to Brick Oven for lunch not only for New years but also for Brittanys 23rd birthday which is Jan 2nd. We went back to mom and dads and played games the rest of the night. We were all pretty exhausted from all the late nights and parties from christmas so I think I fell asleep on the couch before 12! Not much of a partier i guess! That sunday we had a "Tangled" Birthday party for Brittany. She may be 23 but she will always be the baby of the Family and she said she will never be too old for a princess party! I agree with her and I too will never be to old for princess parties! She had a very special day and was given a promise ring from her boyfriend Dakotah. I cant tell you how happy I am that she is herself again. She went through alot with her divorce and she deserves to have all the happiness in the world! She deserves to have someone love her and treat her with respect. I love having my Best Friend back and seeing her light shine for us and others to enjoy! Love you Britt!

Tubing with the Hreinsons!
A few days after Christmas we were able to go to Soldier Hallow in Midway Tubing with my Dad's side of the family. It was super cold but soooo much fun! I havent done any winter sports (skiing, tubing, snowmobiling) in years and it made me realize how much I miss it. I love playing in the snow! Yes it is cold but it is one way to enjoy the winter instead of dreading the white stuff! I hope we can go up again next year and this time i hope i either fit into my winter clothes, or i invest in them cause jeans and a coat that is too small to zip up just doesnt cut it! especially if you miss getting on your tube when the tow rope comes and you are dragging on your stomach up the hill! Yeah that really happened and it was cold!

Christmas 2010
So its no surprise that when I add a slideshow of pictures it usually means 2 things... #1 Im too lazy to go through the hundreds of pictures to choose... #2 I already added them to facebook so it kills 2 birds with one stone!
Christmas this year was AWESOME!!! There were so many things that made it great. Having Gabi this year gave me a small glimpse of how exciting the Christmas' to come are going to be... she didnt really care this year but she did love the wrapping paper! We were able to stay at my parents new home with my Brother Ryan and his family who were here from Denver. We spent so much time together as a family and that is the very best part about Christmas to me. With all of my siblings here and my family together it felt complete. It was the perfect Christmas and one that I will cherish for a very long time. One highlight was playing Michael Jackson the Experience on the Wii it is SOOO much fun! It makes it a little better for Gio and I as Superfans but the rest of the family had a good time as well and its a great workout! I was also very spoiled this year, gio bought me a new sewing machine and serger and I LOVE IT~ I wish I had a better space in my house to work on all my projects and I wish I had more time to actually work on them! Someday! ;) I Love Christmas Time and I love my Family! Cant wait till next year~
